At this juncture I was working on Angellina III. I do ocassionally talk to them and here it would appear I might be trying to kiss the piece but I doubt it is more than a jesture. The piece is still in oil-based clay and yet to be finished. Oh, but it is very finished now and has been for a number of years.
Like Ann, I have been working hard at craft and art from those early days back in the Pleistocene. In the past ten years or so I have moved away from my earlier animal forms and concentrated on the human subject. I am drawn to simple expressions of appreciation. It is not that I am simple it is just that many of those things in life that are important to me are not complex. They may be aesthetic moments of a quiet joy of nothing more than being thankful for a nice bunch of beets that I have just spent the summer growing. That theme wanders all over, I hope, in my work . I enjoy being outside, on rivers, lakes, walking on snow shoes that in themselves have a rather aesthetic, and maybe historical , interest. Life in my world is good. I want to express a simple goodness and reverence.

At this point in our careers Ann's work is largely being shown on the main website with a few exceptions. The bigger work is there . Not all of the work is presently listed on ETSY but may be. Those pieces for sale will be so marked and might be linked to the ETSY site. At this juncture the only option for purchase may be to contact us directly. The prices will be reasonable.
The Edgewood Orchard Gallery in Fish Creek Wisconsin handles my (David) work and is open from May until Nov. It has a complete selection of each piece. This is one of the finest galleries in the midwest and is well worth a visit not only because of my artistic endeavors but for the many great works they display. Great owners and staff. The gallery is a real jewel.
