This was our first studio/gallery in Elizabeth, Colorado which we opened in 1970. We lived and worked in Elizabeth for 23 years, raised our two kids and had one hell of time. Our son Ian stands in front a small shop we built and rented out to a restraunt along, with our hound dog Brown.
This is Ann painting in the early years. One will note there is no reluctance to embrace what is apparently cold weather. She was tough. I like the costume, the military look, the mismatched mittens, the abused easel and, most importantly, the dashing scarf. I took the picture and hid in the VW van.
This fine pastel came back to us after many years away. I should say an image came form a collector who bought it on a secondary market. Ann always like this painting but we never took the usual photo, so it was great to see it again.
We couldn't resist putting the image on a poster advertizing our contra dance. Almost a collector's item. In fact, if anybody is interested we do have a few extra. We could send them for postage.

At this point in our careers Ann's work is largely being shown on the main website with a few exceptions. The bigger work is there . Not all of the work is presently listed on ETSY but may be. Those pieces for sale will be so marked and might be linked to the ETSY site. At this juncture the only option for purchase may be to contact us directly. The prices will be reasonable.
The Edgewood Orchard Gallery in Fish Creek Wisconsin handles my (David) work and is open from May until Nov. It has a complete selection of each piece. This is one of the finest galleries in the midwest and is well worth a visit not only because of my artistic endeavors but for the many great works they display. Great owners and staff. The gallery is a real jewel.
